ABOUT VICKY

I have been doing triathlon since I was 15 after being a runner since the age of 8. I race as an U23 elite in domestic races such as the British Super Series and also internationally in European/ World Cups. A serious stress fracture in my hip earlier this year, followed by a cortisone injection in my ankle, has left me unable to race at all this season so I am currently building back to full training, getting very excited to be back racing in 2015! I normally train 20-25 hours a week with the Performance squad at Uni and the World Class Programme based here. My aims for this year are to get back to high level racing, stay injury free and potentially race a 70.3 (half ironman) at the end of the season.

VICKY’S MAJOR RESULTS

  • 3rd in the British Youth Champs,
  • 5th in Senior English Schools XC,
  • 2nd British Junior Super Series
